Slated for its initial appearance January 30-31, 2009 during the Viking VIP Miami Boat Show Preview in Riviera Beach, Florida, at the Viking Yacht Service Center, the new 46 Convertible is charging down the production line with progress made every day. The first 46 Convertible will feature a Bahama Blue hull, which has proven to be a popular choice on our new models.
The 46 Convertible is an all new design from bow to stern and shares many of the engineering attributes of its larger stable mates. The running surface with its convex deadrise adds form to the bottom for enhanced lifting motion in a head sea for comfortable offshore performance. Propeller pockets provide a modest draft. Power for 46601 is a pair of 1,100 mhp V10 MAN common rail diesels. Accommodations include two plush staterooms and two heads, a spacious salon and an observation mezzanine in the 121 square foot cockpit.
