It was late on Wednesday when we got the last of our 7 boats in the display. Our service manager Steve and his team of Jay & Eric spent lot's of hours cleaning, hanging flags and setting up our display. I want to give them a big THANK YOU as it looks great! The morning (Thursday) started off gray but heated up quickly as we learned our teammates from Orange County had to deal with a major 'Sig alert' on I-5 , 3 closed lanes which eventually became a 13 mile backup. Jeff our Tiara manager had a 5 hour commute to get to the show but made it there eventually.

A gray start to the day.

By the time the show opened the skies were blue and clear, a perfect day for a boat show. Within the fist 10 minutes of the gate opening we had our first guests arrive and the fun began. While the traffic was not heavy, there was a consistent flow for most of the afternoon. It was great to see many previous clients there and everyone made some new friends as well. We met people that made a special trip to the show from as far away as Texas and Seattle, a few from Canada and several from Mexico.

I would like to give a special thanks to Viking Yachts and Viking Sportcruisers for all their support in helping us with this show (and all the others). They are also BIG sponsors of our upcoming Viking Owners Rendezvous (Aug 18-20). There is still some spaces left for any Viking owner that wishes to attend what will be a fantastic event. If you haven't seen information on this, see the articles in the ON THE PACIFIC section of our web site or call any of our offices.

Please, when you visit the show this weekend, come on by and say hello..... you can meet a couple of guys from the BAD COMPANY SF TEAM and ask them about their fishing techniques, the weather will be great, the boats are looking sharp and we are easy to find, just make the first right turn when you come down the gangway as you go into the in-the-water portion. Look for our archway and flags and oh yeah, some of the biggest boats in the show with our 72' Viking, 67' Viking, 60' Viking BCE, 58' Riviera, 55' Hatteras, 39' Tiara Conv and 35' Tiara Sovran (with IPS). See you at the SD Yacht & Boat Show!

Scott, this article looks fantastic. Our show display looks great as well. Thanks for doing this posting, allows me to see what's going on without being there this time.
