During his college years, Eric managed his family's high-profile Shelter Island fueling facility, Pearson's Marine Fuel, which gave him the advantage of working with all types of boats on a daily basis. This followed with crew positions on a significant number of vessels, from mega-yachts to commercial tugs.  His intimate knowledge and experience in the boating industry lead to an offer to join the prestigious Crow’s Nest Yachts.
