Crow's Nest Viking Rendezvous 2008
Newport Beach, CA: Crow's Nest Yachts, the proud and exclusive West Coast dealer of Viking sportfishing yachts and Viking luxury cruising yachts held the first annual Viking Yachts Rendezvous on August 18th aboard EPYC’s Pacific Provider at beautiful Cat Harbor, Catalina.
The Crow's Nest Yacht's Exclusive Viking Rendezvous was designed to show appreciation to the loyal West Coast Viking customers offering a variety of education classes as well as luxury dining and events for the kids.

"This was a great opportunity to have our Viking owners come together in a spirit of celebration before the summer ended," said Anthony Hsieh, CEO of Crow’s Nest Yachts. "This amazing rendezvous was made possible by the generosity of Viking Yachts, the wonderful staff aboard the EPYC and of course all of the Viking owners that took time out of their week to join us on the water.”
Day one was fun and festive as Viking owners made their way to Cat Harbor. Owners were encouraged to check at 1300 hours and return to the Pacific Provider at 1800 hours for drinks and appetizers. The evening’s festivities allowed Viking owners to interact and show off their Viking yachts.

Day two was full of information events for the Viking owners and fun events for their kids. A gourmet breakfast was served at 8am. Following the breakfast Viking Yachts gave a short presentation on upcoming models and insights on current models. This was followed by valuable insurance information from Mariners insurance and a presentation from MAN and Boat Decor. Pacific Provider then hosted a full BBQ lunch. Lunch was followed by a fishing derby for the kids. For the chefs in training, Pacific Providers 5 star chef took over the main deck and gave a cooking demonstration sharing recipes that owners could use while on the sea. The evening ended with a pirate themed dinner where everyone came dressed to the nines. Everyone dressed to impress in hopes of winning the best dressed competition. The distinguished of the contest were winners John and Linda Vanderwerf, and Gerald and Sue Vickers.

Day three, the final day of the Crow’s Nest Yachts Viking Rendezvous, started with another amazing breakfast aboard the Pacific Provider. After breakfast many owners stayed to mingle and discuss next year’s rendezvous while others made their way home in preparation for the starting school year.
“For those that were not able to make it this year, we hope to see you all next year. And for those that came out, thank you for making our first year a great success” said Hsieh.
