Recap of Day 1: Entrants departed from home ports up and down the coast and fished their way to Pyramid Cove at San Clemente Island. By the 5:30 p.m. weigh in deadline many anglers came in with a variety of fish to weigh, including blue fin tuna, yellow fin tuna, Dorado, yellowtail, and Calico Bass. Hula Girl and Surly Mermaid both jumped to the head of the pack, followed closely by Temptation.

After weighing the fish the crew of the Pacific Provider treated our guests to delicious appetizers and special cocktails including the “San Clemente Sling” and “Pescador Punch” before a grand dinner on the aft deck.
