The proud owners who christened their new 70’ Viking Sport Cruiser 2008 on the first day of our Newport Beach Boat Show in April!
Gerald and Sue Vickers ordered their first boat through Crow’s Nest Yachts in June of 2000, a Tiara 3500 Open named appropriately, “Tiara My Sue”. They purchased this Tiara 3500 Open for use in Maui, Hawaii. Since then, they have purchased a Tiara 3800 Open, “Tiara My Sue II”, Two Tiara 4200 Opens, Tiara My Sue III & IV and a 70’ Viking Sport Cruiser which they are currently keeping in San Diego, CA.
For the Vickers, 99% of their boating has been in Maui, Hawaii. Their plan now is to spend more time in California and do more boating on the Pacific Coast.
By 2009 the Vickers 70’ Viking Sports Cruiser will be in Seattle, WA and their brand new Tiara 4200 Open, that is currently being rigged “Tiara My Sue IV”, will stay in San Diego, CA.
It’s hard to keep up with them as they keep their travel agent very busy, but when they do find free time all they want to do is spend time on their boat.
