Crow’s Nest Yachts and Viking Yachts are proud to announce that an all-new Viking 57 Convertible will join the Viking fleet at the Miami Boat Show in February 2009. This vessel will feature a robust hull, beautiful sheer, curvy, smooth deckhouse with Viking’s teardrop lines seen in the window design, a low profile wrap-around flybridge, and a cockpit measuring 157 square feet. The cockpit will include a spacious observation mezzanine. All of this results in an exciting new model in the Viking convertible tradition.
The 57 will be available in open and enclosed bridge versions. Both configurations supply excellent sightlines, and with power-assist single-lever and hydraulic steering controls, this new convertible is ready to please.
Professional anglers will appreciate the mezzanine’s ability to allow guests to stay out of the way, while still close to the action in the lower cockpit. When it comes to creating tournament-proven cockpits, no company even comes close to Viking’s reign. From the recessed, insulated bait tanks, to the rounded coamings, to the push-release locker doors, nothing on this vessel is overlooked.
